After a hectic 2 weeks cycling through Michigan, Ohio and Pennsylvania, things appeared grim with 3 days left, as ‘Hurricane Hannah’ looked set to washout the ride. Luckily, there was room for the bike on a greyhound bus, and used up a stormy wet Saturday to get across New Jersey and the Hudson River on the bus into NYC, which left a sunny Sunday to cycle out through Brooklyn, to Coney Island, and the Atlantic Ocean. Job Done.
Had a few lemonade shandies on Monday back in Manhattan, and then the flight home on Monday.
Thanks to all that helped along the way, and don’t forget the WBR charity.
All for now
Phil
p.s. I will add some more photos soon.
weaving through the lakes of minisota and wisconson, all very pretty, but the wind keeps blowing from the east or south-east, which is a pain.
still, should reach green Bay on lake michigan in a couple of days, and then see if i can delay my flights to try to make it all the way to new york (which i thought would be out of the question when trip was reduced from 90 days to 50 days) but if an extra 10 or so days will do the job, then will give it a bash.
added some pics from back in bozeman,
all for now, Phil
